FAQ



Forgot Password: If you forget your password, simply click on the Forgot Password option that appears after entering an email. You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.


Unlock Account: If you lock yourself out of your account due to incorrect credentials, click on the "Forgot Password" option from the SSO page to unlock your own account.


IMPORTANT: If you need a password reset, but lock your account due to incorrect password attempts, you must click Forgot Password TWICE. First click will unlock your account. Then, you must click Forgot Password again if you still need a password reset.


Change Password: Use this option if you know your existing password but want to make a change. You will be prompted to enter your existing password, so if you do not know it, use “Forgot Password” instead.


SSO Setup Emails: If you are not currently SSO-enabled for other Vertafore products, you will be receiving an email to set up a password for MyVertafore SSO. The emails will come from vimadmin-live@vertafore.com. Please ensure and check your Junk Email/Spam if you are unable to locate the email in your inbox.


“Join Now” Links: If you receive an email to set up a password to join MyVertafore, please be advised the “Join Now” link provided will expire after it is clicked on the first time. To ensure successful setup, please make sure to finish the entire setup process at one time. If you click the link and exit without setting up a password, your link will no longer be valid. You will then need to use “Forgot Password” to retrigger a new email and link to work with.
